Now.

Updated July 2026

This is what I'm focused on right now. Inspired by the /now page idea -- a snapshot that's more honest than a bio and more current than an about page.

Sageworx

The curation is at 120+ members. We're deep in AI-forward production workflows -- not experimenting anymore, building. Current focus is scaling the PDA partnership model and a slate of AI-forward film projects that push the format past the "look what AI can do" novelty phase. We're also investing in our internal AI infrastructure -- the systems that make a 120-person distributed network operate like it shares a brain.

The M-Shaped Career

Writing in progress. The structural outline is complete and I'm drafting the first chapters. The hardest part is the valley interstitials -- the spaces between peaks where the real learning happened. Those moments are less glamorous than the peaks but they're the whole point of the book.

On Stage

Spoke at the AI Transformation Summit in June 2026. Working on expanding the talk circuit -- particularly around "The Org Is the Architecture" and "The Human IN the Work." If you're running an event and want a practitioner perspective, not pundit theater, reach out.

Claude Cohort

I'm part of an AI training cohort focused on Claude -- not the "here's how to write a prompt" version, but the deep-systems version. Building with AI as infrastructure, not as a chatbot. Learning as much about what AI can't do reliably as what it can. The constraints are more interesting than the capabilities.

On My Mind

The relationship between organizational design and creative output -- specifically, why most creative organizations are designed to prevent the work they say they want to produce. Also thinking about the economics of AI-forward production and what happens to pricing models when the cost structure fundamentally changes. And whether "the future of work" discourse has anything useful left to say, or whether it's become a content category that exists to fill conference agendas.

Reading

"Working" by Robert Caro -- for the hundredth time. The chapter on research methodology is its own masterclass. Assorted AI research papers -- less for the findings, more for the methodology gaps. Way too much LinkedIn, which I'm trying to cut back on.
